Minnesota singer-songwriter Brian David will release his deeply personal and reflective new album, The Echo In Your Soul, on August 7, 2026. Blending acoustic-driven indie rock, cinematic textures, electronic elements, and emotionally honest storytelling, the album explores the questions many people quietly wrestle with in midlife: purpose, identity, regret, healing, connection, and what truly matters most. Rooted in themes of meaning over materialism and growth through life’s hardest moments, the album captures the emotional crossroads of adulthood — where dreams evolve, relationships change, time feels more precious, and the “echo” of who we are meant to become grows louder. “The songs on this album are really about listening to that inner voice most of us spend years trying to ignore,” says Brian David. “It’s about the tension between comfort and calling... between who we became and who we still want to be.”

The album’s lead single, The Big Life Question, is the first single out ahead of the full release and introduces listeners to the

album’s central theme: asking ourselves whether we are truly living the life we were meant to live.
